What did you contribute individually to this process?
I have an example on this process in the room. You can also access the file I have on My classes.
Some notes you may have used include:
Complete the brainstorming for your theme.
This of course can only be done after your constraints and considerations have been completed.
Ensure all of your work is kept in a folio.
A. a good resource for future years
B. folio of work will count towards your term mark.
C. It also forms the basis for next terms work (practical journal).
Some Australian themes
may include: Surfing culture, Indigenous culture e.g. Dreamtime, On the Farm,
Multicultural Australia, A Sporting nation, Melbournes laneways, Bondi Beach,
Cafe Culture, Native flora and fauna, etc...
Students should end up selecting an Australian theme that they can relate to and
identify with.
SO....
What direction will you take?
What does Modern Australia mean to you?
Here are a few ideas that come to my mind:
- Multicultural
- Relatively fast paced
- Tourism
- Water
- Sand
- Beautiful vibrant colours of the ocean, wildlife and flora.
- The age group I would target is 40+
ETC...
The list goes on and on and of course will only be inspired by your thoughts.
So make a start and hopefully by Thursdays lesson we will have some fantastic ideas and themes.
I am hoping that we will be at the stage of setting up your website and moodboards.
