Creative statement
The creative statement is your opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of
materials and design. Your responses should be as detailed as possible. Make sure that your answers refer back to the Design Brief, and also refer to the fabrics and material or resources provided.

Justify the materials used and innovations identified for the design/s: Demonstrate your understanding of materials – · Refer to the properties of wool, refer to the fabric pack samples, identify whether the materials are knit or woven, and also give reason as to relate your chosen materials and innovations back to the design brief. · State why the particular wool innovation(s) and fabric(s) were chosen. · Identify what each garment offers by using the chosen innovation/fabric type. |
